ESSIE is an alt/rock guitar player and vocalist from Perth, Western Australia, now residing in Bedfordshire, UK. Her signature sound is a confident mix of bluesy guitar chops and soaring vocals. “The proud owner of an awesome set of pipes”(Drunkenwerewolf.com).
Performing in a solo, duo, or full band set up, ESSIE is a regular in the London’s clubs and the surrounding counties, where she is building a devoted fan base enthralled with her raw, confessional songwriting and assertive blues guitar.
In 2023 ESSIE released ‘Limitless’, working in both London and Nashville to deliver her signature gut punchingly assured vocals and characteristic guitar riffs. In September 2024 ESSIE released her first fully self-produced single, ‘Big Cities’, blending lo-fi swirling guitar riffs with moody vocal lines.
In an entertainment industry where women are finally flexing their muscles in every area, ESSIE’s music is yet another reminder of the power that they can yield.
